Membership

Membership in the Library is free of charge to residents of the Town of Huntsville, according to The Public Libraries Act, 1990.
- Library cards are also available at no charge to primary and secondary school students who attend schools within the Town of Huntsville.
- Minimum residence to be eligible for resident membership is 8 weeks.
- Since the Library is supported primarily through Town of Huntsville residential property taxes, library members who live outside the Town of Huntsville and do not pay Huntsville property taxes must pay a fee to obtain a library card
- At registration, you must present 2 pieces of identification (at least one piece with a local
address in the case of resident).
- Non-resident fees:
- Annual fee - $35
- Seasonal (4-month) fee - $25
