Placing Your Own Interlibrary Loan Requests
What is patron-initiated interlibrary loan?
It is an automated system that allows you to access the Ontario Interlibrary Loan system (known as INFO). You can place a request anywhere, anytime.
Signing Up
To request your own interlibrary loans, you need to be a registered user of the Huntsville Public Library. An Interlibrary Loan registration is also required. Please visit the Library at 7 Minerva Street in Huntsville, or apply for interloan registration online.

- Go to the INFO link. http://info.vdxhost.com/en/zportal
- Enter your user I.D. (assigned by the Huntsville Library).
- Enter your password (assigned by the Huntsville Library).
- Select location: Huntsville Public Library.

- Select "Standard" or "Advanced Search".
- For your initial search profile select SOLS York/Muskoka (shared).
- Enter keywords and select GO!

- Click on Huntsville Public Library to bring our records to the top of the list.
- If Huntsville does not own the book, check details to find the item you want.
- Look for an ISBN in the record to speed your request.
- Click Get It.
- Add special instructions in the title field if necessary. (eg. Sound Recording)
- Click Submit.

Notification
The library will notify you when:

The item is ready for pick up.

Additional information is needed to complete the request.

There are service charges for which approval is needed.

The request has been cancelled or is unavailable.
Canceling or Renewing a Request
Requests cannot be cancelled or renewed by the patron online. Please contact the Huntsville Library at 705-789-5232 or email interlibraryloan@huntsvillelibrary.net
