Huntsville Public Library is pleased to offer you three searchable online subscription databases for do-it-yourselfers.

All three are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week with your Huntsville Library Card. Click on the links under each database to use one of these database products.

Chilton Library

Chilton Library offers more than 50 years of information on actual auto tear-downs. With step-by-step procedures,illustrations, and photos, Chilton makes work on engines, chassis, electrical systems, drive train and suspension, etc., much easier.

What's more, ChiltonLibrary.com includes these features:

• Domestic and import vehicle information through the current model year
• Easy printing, thanks to small content chunks, allowing you to print only needed information
• Clear navigation, using alphabetically arranged, consistent headings
• Individual tabs for repair, maintenance, or recall/technical service bulletins
• Explanation of trouble codes to help easily identify the problem
  

Click on the Chilton's icon, when you get to the list of Gale  Cengage databases, scroll down until you see Chilton Library and click on it.

Is an online tool for help with home improvement projects, including maintenance, remodeling, electrical work, plumbing, wood projects, outdoor improvements, decorating home & garden, and more. It contains 27 major full text reference works, over 10,000 images, nearly 100 videos on popular home repair projects, and full-text magazines.

Combines text instructions and illustrations on repair and maintenance of ATVs, commercial mowers, tractors, generators, motorcycles, boat engines, outdoor power equipment, PWC, snowblowers, snowmobiles, tillers and more.
