Teen Volunteer Opportunities
There are a number of ways to be involved at Huntsville Public Library as a volunteer. Grade 9 to 12 students may earn community involvement hours through library volunteerism.

Teen Techno Wizards
Are you a techno wizard with amazing computer and social software skills who is looking for a way to earn your community involvement hours?
- Earn volunteer hours by working with senior adults one-on-one and teaching basic computer and social software skills.
- The session runs for six weekly one-hour tutoring sessions at the library at mutually agreeable times on library computes or on the senior adult's laptop, should they choose to bring one.
- An orientation for Teen Techno Wizards will be held prior to the start of the program.
- Sessions with senior adults cover basic computer and Internet topics such as: creating and
managing email accounts; Internet searching & navigation; setting up
a Facebook page; uploading photos; Microsoft Word basics; and Microsoft
Excel basics.
If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out a Volunteer Position Profile and return it to the library.
