Teen Advisory Group (TAG)

What is TAG?

Huntsville Public Library's brand new Teen Advisory Group serves in an advisory capacity regarding library services and materials for teens.  The Teen Advisory Group meets monthly to discuss teen collections and programs, plan events, work on content for the Teen page of the library web site, and more.  We enjoy snacks, meet great people and contribute ideas!

So far this year the Teen Advisory Group has organized a movie evening and a Wii tournament. 

Community Involvement

Earn community involvement hours by attending meetings and being involved in events.   Members play a valuable role for the library and the Huntsville community. Membership also looks great on resumes, as well as job and post-secondary applications. 

Meetings

Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 4:00-5:00 p.m. with a break in December.  Pizza will be served!

Fall: September 27, 2011, October 25, 2011, & November 29, 2011

Winter: January 24, 2012 & February 28, 2012

Spring: March 27, 2012, April 24, 2012 & May 22, 2012

Membership Criteria

• Grade 9-12
• Attend meetings
• Use the library appropriately

Fill out a TAG registration form and attend the next meeting at the Huntsville Public Library.
