    Objective:

    To create a love of reading


    Philosophy:

    Continuous immersion in communication through song, chants, nursery rhymes, poetry, stories and tw-oway discussions making reading enjoyable


    Objective:

    To make parents aware of the importnace of reading to their children from birth on.

    Philosophy:

    Establish a priority for reading that will encourage the child to view reading as a pleasurable activcity.  Newborns learn through the shared experience.


    Objective:

    To encourage parents to read & communicate with their children on a regular basis.

    Philosophy

    Learning to read is a natural process  when parents are interactively involved with their child, offering encouragement and feedback.
