    Dear Parents,

    Congratulations on the birth of your new baby!  It is a very special time for all of you.

    We hope that you have fun reading the Mother Goose book that has been presented.  By reading as you hold your baby close, you create an atmosphere of warmth and love that your child will associate with books for a lifetime.  You are your child's first teacher, and you have the opportunity to develop a positive attitude toward learning.
